I'm seeing the same problem described by Nathan and Frederic last week on
many different systems.  The error is:

DSMcsvc.exe exceptionaccess violation
      (0xc0000005), address:0x44ff3000

There doesn't seem to be a pattern to the crash, although we did notice one
interesting phenomenon.  While the ADSM server was down, many of the NT
clients crashed with the Dr Watson access violation as they polled the
server.  Unfortunately, they crash at other times, too.

We also had a number of the same clients that hung during retries on open
files.  I've included all log files to a dynamic copy group for now, but I'd
like to have a resolution instead of workaround.

Does anyone have any more information on this?  I've also opened a call with
IBM but haven't heard back yet.

Is anyone having success with SP4 and an earlier ADSM client?
