i don't know why your unavailable volume changes its status to scratch but
afterwards
you don't see it in your pool (q v) and it might be used for dbb. After
being used for dbb
the tape's status changes to private as seen in the q libv command.

If you can provide me with more information about treatment of unav.
volumes or with
the comlete actlog between 29.03.99, 09:00 and 30.03.99, 10:00 i'll check
if the status problem can be solved.
