The error message "ANS0944E dsmnotes error(s) occurred" basically telling
you that something is missing or corrupted inside the database. If the
problem is not too severe, it will give you this warning. But when the
database is badly corrupted, it will not give you any warning, it will just
hang. There is no way for the Notes agent to detect if the database is
corrupted or not before the backup happens. You should use other Notes
tools to check and fix the corrupted database before doing a backup using
the Notes agent.

Hi

when I try to Backup my Notes on a Windows NT 4.0 Sp3,
I get the follow error message from the logfile:

I run a script with the follow command:

dsmnotes incr * -subdir=yes

My ADSM server is 3.1.2.0 on a MVS system.
