Re: ADSMSCSI.SYS driver

Problem like:
I/O errors
tape hanging out of the tapeunit, so that further actions are
impossisible. This is our main problem, because you can't remote do
something about that. You always need local onsite support for that and
that's just what we not wanted.

Wha kind of errors are you getting?  I am trying to resolve some problems
as well except on an STK9740 with DLT7000 tapes.

Hi all,

I found out that the ADSMSCSI.SYS driver is different between version ADSM
for NT version 3.1.0.1 and 3.1.2.0.

Is there anyone who can tell me the difference between those drivers. Does
the latest driver contain fixes ? And is yes, which ?

Old driver ADSMSCSI.SYS - 471392 bytes - modified September 18, 1997
New driver ADSMSCSI.SYS - 485824 bytes - modified August 25, 1998

We have some problems with our IBM MagStar 3570 tapeunits and maybe this
will solve the problem !!
Please help....
