Try using the LBtest utility , found in the utils subdirectory.
lbtest -d <library device name> ex, lbtest -d lb6.0.0.2
then select 1 < for manual mode> followed by 6 to open the library device.
selecting number 9 should show you the info you need as well as alot of info
about your library slots.
