I use a perl script which checks the servers activity log and matches the
activity or lack of activity to the nodes.  The command that picks up the
messages of interests is:
q act begind=today-1 begint=08:00 endd=today endt=07:59 se=ANE49

Any alternate (and probably easier) method is to turn on auditing an use the
entries in dsmaccnt.log which, by default, is in /usr/lpp/adsmserv/bin (at
least on AIX).
