Are empty data base pages writen to tape during a "backup db type=full"
command?  If no, do the empty pages have to be scanned/read?

I currently have spare disks that will eventually be needed for database and
log space and their associated mirrors.  I was going to define these volumes
now; but I was wondering if that may extend the database dump both in
time and size.
