I am resending a 'Help" request originally posted to the List on Thurs.
2/18/99.  I have so far received only 2 replies both
from individuals who were having the same problem and were hoping my request
would aid them as well.  If anyone has
an answer (or just wants to commiserate) any and all replies will be
welcomed.   Mostly, though, we need at least a point
or nudge in the right direction.  Thanks in advance.

I know you have heard this story before but,.............here goes:
Based on info from IBM and info previously gleaned from the 'List' we
inferred that an upgrade to V3.1.1.5 (on RS6000/AIX)
would take care of both our aggregate and reclamation problem.  Weelllll, to
make a long story short, everything went OK
for about 2 months and now the reclamation process is hanging again.  I
cannot cancel it.  The only thing that will
stop it is to stop and start ADSM.   This is just a little bit annoying as
the problem occurs about every other day.
Also, the longer it continues, the more possibility of another problem
popping up.  (ie.  today we couldn't label any
tapes until after we had recycled ADSM to get rid of the reclamation
process.   Any ideas anybody?   Anything at
all would be much appreciated.
