Please check you nfs environment! Do you have an AIX nfs server
with an unmounted nfs exported jfs filesystem, but the export is
still active? And do you have one ore more Solaris nfs clients
importing nfs filesystems from this server? Then there is a good chance
that this configuration blocks your network and thus your adsm clients,
if they backup over network.
We had the situation described above and wondered why our adsm
clients were frozen.  By this time we had the mentioned nfs problem.
After I fixed the nfs problem, suddenly our adsm clients worked
normal.
