ADSM seems to be having a problem with the SMDR.NLM delivered with NetWare
5.0 support Pack 1.0.
ADSM support is working on it now with Novell. Until it is resolved, you
can use the SMDR.NLM delivered
with NetWare 5.

Dear All,

the Office Automation had always refused to installed the client for
NetWare, because they said, it was too cumbersome to use ... in reality
"cumbersome" means "there's no GUI", you know these Windows-xx guys if
they can't use the mouse ...

Anyway, with the WEBclient I've asked them to try the brilliant new
interface, but unfortunately the client seems to hang immediately, as
soon as, you issue a "dsmc i" command or you double-click on a link in
the browser page.
Note that the tpc/ip connection is (seems) still active with the server,
but the task is supsended on the NetWare side, no chances to unload it
and the only solution is a client reboot.

Has anybody experienced this?

Client ADSM: IP21493
Client Environment: NetWare 5.0 with support Pack 1.0

Server ADSM: V 3.1.1.5

TIA

Ciao Mauro
