This is the location of the online tuning guide there is a section in
the
beginning on general tuning for all platforms and then following there is
platform specific tuning. Also at the very top is server tuning and after
that client tuning. Look for MEMORYEFFICIENTBACKUP for sure with NetWare
but there are many more things to tweak so take a look.
Also believe it or not (even being IBM) this is an easy to understand
tech
page.
