We are planning to do this in the near future using HACMP on AIX SP's.
In theory it should work.
All of the adsm config and bin files (/usr/lpp/adsmserv) will be on
dual-attached disks (varyed off on the backup, of course).  The Library
and drives will be attached via twin-tail SCSI, again not normally used
by the backup.  All of the ADSM database volumes and diskpools will be on
dual-attached disks.

Currently we don't know what will happen if cfgmgr is run on the backup
system while the primary is attached and using the tape drives.  Will a
SCSI reset occur?  Will that screw things up?  Maybe, maybe not...  I
guess we'll see...
