PRESCHEDULE commands are ONLY INITIATED ! prior to the scheduled event
being started.
I'd have to double check the postsched command behavior... we have
used a postsched command that would ftp the clients sched.log to a
central box so "we" the adsm admins could view them without having to
get on the client but lately responsibility issues have been worked
out and the client node admins have taken responsibility for what runs
on their boxes (novel idea, huh...) and I don't believe we have any
clients still using postsched commands BUT I thought they ran no
matter what (success or fail)

Hi there,
I have had another problem in my ADSM shop.
For two clients, we have defined Preschedule and Postschedule command to
close and then re-open Lotus Notes Server.
Sometimes schedule fails, I mean Failed is the output from a Q EV command,
and the Postschedule cmd is not executed.
It seems to me that Preschedule, schedule and Postschedule commands are not
synchronized.
ADSM Server is located on MVS and its level is 3.1.1.3.
The two clients involved are:
1) SUN Solaris OS 5.6 with ADSM client 3.1.0.6
2) SUN Solaris OS 5.5.1 with ADSM client 3.1.0.6
Schedule is defined to start at 22:00:00 with a window of 2 hours.
May be due to midnight problem?
Your help will be very appreciated.
Thanks in advance
