Réf:Old filespaces don't expire

Files are marked inactive only when an incremental backup run on the filespace
and doesn't find them
If you delete a filespace on a client or stop backup it , active versions stay
active.
I know two methods for deleting files
1 Empty the filespace on client and run an incremental to inactive all files
before deleting it
2 run delete filespace on ADSM server to delete immediatly all files

Hi,
I have a lot of Filespaces which were last backuped many
days (>300) ago. I don't know why this happens, because the original files
are deleted and the parameter "retain extra version" and "retain only version"
are o.k.
1. Does anybody have an idea why this happens?
2. How can I find out when they will expire?
I have the newest ADSM-Rel. 3.1.2.14 (ADSM Server on OS/390)
Thank you
Winfried
