How has HSM worked for you?

Clients are starting to ask for HSM capability to our ADSM server.  What are
some of the gotchas that I should watch for.
Our server is AIX 4.2.1, ADSM V3.1.2.1., limited diskpool space, 5 3590
drives, 6 frame 3494 library.
