IBM has published a paper with a technique for restoring WinNT to different
hardware.
Go to this website:  www.brs.ibm.com

There is a link on the first page to "Techniques for Restoring WinNT
Servers".

You have to register to download the white paper, but it's free.

Haven't tried it myself yet, but looks promising.
