Mark,

What I monitor to detect end of migration is an entity in the "Q STG F=D"
(or select equivalent) which indicates whether migration is in progress
or not ... repeating the query how ever often is deemed appropriate for
your environment.  Then the levels can be reset and you can move on to
the next stg pool.

          Migration in Progress?: Yes

Some other useful fields are ...

            Amount Migrated (MB): 35,693.13
Elapsed Migration Time (seconds): 2,588
        Reclamation in Progress?:
 Volume Being Migrated/Reclaimed:

It's worked well here although it is worth also monitoring the amount
migrated and if it goes less than "last time you checked", then it's
time to put the levels back up.  This can occur if you have clients
backing up at the same time as the migration is running and additional
processes cut in after the bulk of the work has been done.
