I am not sure if it would be the lmcpd deamon in this case. I say this only
because she is showing two tapes mounted. I also know this sounds stupid,
and you probably have checked all this, but query devc and make sure your
mountlimit is set to what it should be. Also, I would look for some process
that may be hanging your label command, such as an insert, checkin or
checkout. If you have restarted Adsm, you can look for the 349X
initialization message or library is ready message in actlog. If all that is
there, I have found it is normally a process that hung me up. I also have
been hung up if the i/o hopper is full and needs emptied which then flags
intervention required on the atl.
