Hello Len,

thanks for your reply.

I have been scanning through the DSMSCHED.LOG of this
server a bit more (it was the first backup of a server with 600.000
files) and encountered a problem with national characters
(I'm sitting in Austria). All files with natioanl characters are not
backed up with message:=20

ANS1304W Active object not found=20

I'm sure to run the 3.1.05 client (final version IP21371) but
the PC guy will check this tomorrow.

As the 3.1.05 won't run with LANGUAGE GERMAN in the
DSM.OPT file is there a change to backup files with national
characters at the moment?

This is very critical to the reputation of the ADSM projekt as
we can't go on with server centralization if I cannot backup
ALL files.

So any feedback on this subject will be greatly appreciated!
(IBM Development: When will fixes to all this problems be
available?).

Thanks Len and all others who so patient reply to my questions.

Greetings from Austria

Thomas Rupp
