When we got this error, it had to do with writing directly to tape.  The
fix was to install the latest ADSM server code (3.1.2.0) and the workaround
was to turn collocation off.

Hi all

Have you seen this one before ?   Do you have any suggestions or
explanations ?
There are no messages in the log whatsoever which relates to the the
failing node - or any other problem.
I have experienced 2 such errors within 10 hours for this node(adsm v.2)
and an NT - (adsm v.3)

ANR0530W Transaction failed for session 7312 for node DATA1 (NetWare) -
ANR0530W internal server error detected.

ANR0530W  TRANSACTION FAILED FOR SESSION session number FOR NODE node name
(client platform) - INTERNAL SERVER ERROR DETECTED.

EXPLANATION:  The server ends a database update transaction for the
specified
session because an internal logic error is detected.

SYSTEM ACTION:  The server ends the specified session and server operation
continues.

USER RESPONSE:  Examine the server messages issued prior to this message to
determine the source of the error.  Issue the QUERY ACTLOG command to view
the
activity log and search for messages. If the error cannot be isolated and
resolved, contact your service representative.
