Re: Another Reclamation Problem

In my experience this is a problem with the aggregates in version 3
which will get sorted out if you run the audit reclaim utility (see
readme.srv for the release).

Alternatively you can delete the volume with discard=yes which should
also force it to remove the volume, but there may well be data on there
that you still need!

You can also list the volume contents & you will probably see there are
indeed a few files on there.

The audit reclaim would be my first option, particularly if you have
not already run it after moving to 3.1.1.5.

| we have an ADSM Server for Solaris 2.6  - Version 3, Release 1, Level 1.5,
| and we try to use Tape Reclamation. The process works, but at the end, the
| volume was not delete from the storagepool.
| Every hour we will see the following for several volumes:

| ANR1040I AUTOPOOL_DLT (process number 21).
| ANR1044I Removable volume 00000010 is required for space reclamation.
| ANR8324I DLT volume 00000010 is expected to be mounted (R/O).
| ANR0985I Process 21 for SPACE RECLAMATION running in the BACKGROUND
| completed
| ANR0985I with completion state SUCCESS at 11:00:36.
| ANR1041I Space reclamation ended for volume 00000010.

| We tried to delete the volume manually, but 'ADSM' says their were still
