Janie:

Because your client is still 2.x, you might look for DSMCSVCI.EXE to run
your scheduler install/uninstall process. DSMCUTIL didn't come into play
with ADSM until a little later on (I believe with the 1st roll-out of the
V3 client in fact), so it won't exist in any of your install directories.
And check your registry entries before you actually run the DSMCSVCI
utility --- you may be able to correct something there and re-boot the
machine without having to perform a complete uninstall.
