I am trying to label tapes in my 3575 library and I am having
problems.  I did it once, and it labeled 165 or 180 tapes.  I
had a problem with a broken tape, and took it out.  I went back
in and ran:

label libvol 3575lib search=yes labelsource=barcode checkin=scratch

again, but now I only have 65 out of 180 tapes checkin to ADSM.
What happen?  Every time I run the label libvol command I get the
errors:

ANR8813W;  Unable to rad the barcode of the cartridge in slot element 47

ANR8813W;  Unable to rad the barcode of the cartridge in slot element 48

And so on thru element 211 or so.  I had IBM come out and check the 3575
lib, but it looks ok.

IS there an issue with labeling tapes?  Why does ADSM only see 65 tapes out
of 180 when I do a "q libvol"?  It is like the other tapes are in oblivion. I 
get the
same errors if I try an:    "audit library 3575lib checklabel=barcode"

any help out there?
