We are ADSM AIX V2.1.0.15, V2 and V3 clients.

I back up networked drives along with my PC with no problem, has always
worked.

The behavior you describe sounds as though there is either something in your
Exclude list that is causing the files not to be backed up, or you do not
have READ access to the files on that server.

Open the ADSM GUI, select the network drive, click down a directory, select
an individual file and see if you can back it up manually.
