I've got a collection of output directories which are named in a manner
similar to what follows:
/u/foo/OUTPUT/
/u/foo/OUTPUT_1/
/u/foo/OUTPUT_2/
/u/foo/OUTPUT_KF/
/vv/bar/OUTPUT_1/
/vv/OUTPUT_1/
I want to exclude these directories and all the files in their
subdirectories from backups. What I want to be able to do is something
which would behave like the following exclude directive:
exclude /.../OUTPUT*/.../*
But the Unix client guide says for the `*' and `?' wildcards, "Use it in
the file name only; do not use it in a directory name." So how do I get
around these output directory names when they may have arbitrary sufixes?
