All,

Futher to the note I sent below (which I have had no response to
todate) the deadlock situation seems to be related to DB activity.  On
investigation the Bufpoolsize was using default of 2048 due to a typo
in the dsmserv.opt file (buffpoolsize!).

Anyway that has been sorted and performance has also improved!  The DB
buffer hist rate is now in excess of 98%, but we may still tune
further.  However the bigger problem is still the aferase which seems
to happen whenever the expire inventory runs.  2 errors happen almost
immediately it starts and then a 3rd happens later.  Most times the
expire inventory just hangs and we need to then halt the server.

In addition the following error occasionaly comes up.

10/15/1998 14:09:40  ANR9999D pkshmem.c(309): Invalid attempt to free memory;
                      called from 101F0608 (ssReconstruct).

Any suggestions would be most appreciated.
