Kelly,

I believe that you are correct and that there is no improvement (that I know
of) at 3.1.2.0.

Further, this limitation also applies to BACKUP STG : multiple processes are
not utilised if the data belongs to a single client.

These limitations restrict the ability to scale up a data management solution :
as clients have greater needs to send data per day (be it archive, backup or
HSM), no matter how many drives you have - the elapsed time for processing the
data on the adsm server is that of your biggest client.

It is difficult as well to automate solutions (i.e. handle server processes)
while attempting to optimise usage of the, often still expensive, hardware.
