You may think about following (hope you have enough tapes):
Turn collocation on (no data from various servers to single tapes -
reduces number of tapes in case of restore)
Separate tape pool for oracle backups - collocation on and - upd vol
wherestgp=orastgp markfull=yes every morning to prevent mixing of backup
generations on tapes
After migrating the disk pools it makes no sense to backup the disk pool if
it contains no data. You can empty them if you set your watermarks in the
morning to 0,1 and wait until migration finishes.
You can vary your reclamation thresholds to your needs - low thresholds
mean full tapes, but high reclamation activity.
