Hi,

Maybe you should verify if the deletion stubs in the database still exists. As
long as those
are still in the Notes database dsmnotes can and will restore those documents.

Subject: dsmnotes restore restores deleted documents

Hi,

this is the environment:

Server: IBM F40 AIX 4.1.5, ADSM 2.1.5.18 with 3570 connected
Client: OS/2 Warp 4.0 with Notes 4.52b; ADSM Notes Client 3.1.0.3

On restoring a database with the following command:

dsmnotes restore e:\b0402001\notes\daten\log.nsf

the agent restores all documents ever backed up from this database!!! The
original database has for example 300 documents (this number is taken from
the properties button of the database in Notes), but over 2000 are
restored. The restored database is much bigger the the original......

THIS CAN NOT BE CORRECT, but what am I doing wrong?
Any help is appreciated.....

Gruesse - Best regards
