Does anyone else on this list use ADSM and live in or around the
Jacksonville Fl. Area.. I am an ADSM admin here and would be interested in
meeting with other ADSM users ...

                Greetings ADSMers!

                My name is John Schneider, ADSM Specialist for LSI-Lowery
Systems Inc.
                in St. Louis. I have agreed to schedule and host the ADSM
Users Group
                meetings, and invite you to attend the next meeting.

                Our next meeting will be Friday, October 9 from 9:30 until
12:00 at IBM
                (500 Maryville College Dr.) Briefing Room 1.  The agenda
will be:

                 9:30 - 9:45  Welcome, Coffee and Rolls
                 9:45 - 10:30 Re-establish SLAG purpose and direction
                 10:30  Award attendance prize
                 10:30 - 12:00 "Why Storage Management and ADSM are
Important for
                Databases"

                The presentation will be by Cyndie Behrens of IBM San Jose.
This should
                be a very informative discussion of ADSM's role in support
of large data
                base applications.  Cyndie will join us via conference call,
allowing
                you will gain insight into ADSM's capabilities to address a
wide range
                of issues regarding the protection of very large data bases.

the St.
                Louis ADSM Users Group, please email me so I can add you to
our email
                list.  We would also like to send you a survey we are using
to obtain
                input from ADSM professionals to help us improve the Users
Group.
