I have the V3 upgrade kit which I am currently preparing to place on
my active V2 ADSM server. I have been reading some of the new information
on
data extracts that can be done using a SQL construct and had a specific
question
come to mind.

Can I (as an administrator) code a SQL Select to find dataset version
information
for a node that is defined to the ADSM server without having to be logged
into the
client for any reason?

The reason why I ask is that I can restore datasets for clients via normal
restore
schedules but, I have been asked for what versions, dates, and file sizes
that exist.
To further complicate the problem, I do not have access to the Console
Screen
(for Novell), Root (for Unix), etc. In some cases, I do not even have a
User Id defined
that would allow basic access.
