I would like to hear from anybody who is doing the following:

STK Silo host-attached, with lots of 4480 drives

ADSM on AIX/RS6000

2 or more Magstar 3590 drives in the STK silo, SCSI attached to the
RS/6000

I'm trying to understand how best to share control of the STK library
between the MVS tape stuff and ADSM on AIX. I understand there are
a couple options:

ACS/LS from STK, which most MVS people don't even want to consider

Library Station from STK, which is a MVS app that listens on the network
for library commands, and controls the library. Evidently ADSM can send
mount requests to this via the network.

Any thoughts, good or bad are appreciated.

Thanks!
