We use the Magstars in 3494's in two different ADSM servers and I feel
like taking them out to lunch they've been so reliable. We've had 2 drive
problems in 3 years. On one drive a small spring broke and the tapes
wouldn't load and a power supply went out on another. They're so much
more reliable than any of the various vendors DLT drives and libraries
we have around here we're pretty envied. The price on the Magstars
really prevents us from using them anywhere else though :(.
