The simple way would be to say something like "AA*.*; AB*.*" and the have
these more granular instructions listed in an NCF file. You can issue a
batch of granular commands this way. One note: each one will start a new
ADSM session.

Subject: ADSM restore on Novell client

I'm doing a restore on a V3 Novell client. I specify DATA:\A*. to
restore directories beginning with A and it doesn't find them. If I
specify A*.* it restores the directories but not the files in the
directories. If I specify A*.* -SU=Y it restores all the files in ALL
the directories that start with A.
I need to break down a full restore because it's going to take too long, so
we're going to do the users on different days. I just can't figure out
how, on Novell, to do a subset of directories.
Is there any way to pass arguments (like a list of directories) to a Novell
.NCF file... has anyone done that?
Thanks for any help..
Julie
