From what I see in my v2 activity log, the final deletion occurs unto
itself, that many days later but not an integral multiple of 24 hours,
which makes it look like ADSM does a looksee run about once an hour or
so to take care of any latent housekeeping chores like this.
For example, on 8/15 at 09:31 the tape goes into Pending state, and
on 8/20 at 10:27 it is finally deleted.
