In ADSM V3 all archived files contain a mandatory description, where the
default
description is the archive date in the format: mm/dd/yyy Time:hh:mm:ss
You can now archive a set of files/directories etc. and give them a unique
description
like "CATIA files for project ABC". When you want to retrieve all the
archived files or
select an individual file from this package, you click on RETRIEVE and will
see that these files are grouped or 'packaged' together according to the
common description.
You will then see the tree structure of this 'package', where the
description is the top
level.

Hi,
recently I read a remark about a feature in ADSM called "archive packages".
I consulted the newest Unix backup & archive client manual SH26-4075-01. I
was not able to find any information about it. Can someone help me?
Best regards
Gerhard
