Did you label the tapes? 3575 tapes do not come with ADSM labels written on the
tapes.
Use the "dsmlabel" command. I think that the full command should be
"dsmlabel drive=/dev/rmt0 library=/dev/smc0 checklabel=barcode"

This will look at all tapes in the library (beware, it is a long process), and
for those that do not already have a label, it will read the barcode, and use
the last 6 digits for the tape label.
