IBM seems to have bought into the BIG LIE that MS Windows NT is good for 
everything from
departmental server to enterprise big iron.  Hence, they are dropping server 
support, as
you've mentioned, and eventually will probably only support NT on the server 
side in the not
too distant future.

With that in mind, why does everyone here complain to IBM about the quality of 
their software,
when the underlying OS is a toy, and full of bugs and holes?  Are we not to 
blame?  Do we
complain to MS about the poor quality of their operating systems, or threaten 
to look elsewhere?

I think we need to look in the mirror here for the real problem.  We've made 
the choices so
simple, there is no longer a choice.  Now we are living with that.
