Client schedules not waking up

Clients: HP-UX 10.X, HP-UX 9.X, SGI IRIX 5.X, IRIX 6.X, Sun Solaris 2.5,
         IBM AIX, Lotus Notes Servers.

Problem:

The clients complete one night's scheduled backups.  The dsmsched.log
states that the schedule will be refreshed in 12 hours.  This refresh
does not occur and the nightly backups do not occur unless the ADSM
schedule daemon is restarted on each client.

We are contacting IBM for any leads, but I'm expecting you folks to
have some valuable insights.
