Last weekend our server (AIX 3.1.1.3) ran into the memory error
(missing allocation storage pool, invalid attempt to free memory, etc.).
The reclamation process stopped and left the tapes mounted in
the drives. The only solution was to reboot the server.
Fortunately exactly this problem was described in the apar of
level 3.1.1.5. I highly recommend to install the latest fixes.
