CC409 Media Fault, clean the heads and ensure the media is not
physically damaged or too old.
ASC00 ASCQ01 Filemark detected
was that op RSR or Forward Space Record (FSR) ?
Key 80, blank check...
So if I got this right is was doing a record forward space as part of
a blank check and found a filemark...
were these new tapes... that is could they have been old tapes and the
label job end with tapes not labeled, volser already present kind'a
thing ?
later,
Dwight

Recently upgraded our ATL7100 to add 3 additional drives and more slots
for tapes.
I was able to successfully dsmlabel the tape and to a checkin. When
ever one of
the new tapes tries to get used I get media errors.
OP=RSR CC=409 KEY=80 ASC=00 ASCQ=01 SENSE=F0.00.80.FF......etc
Any ideas? I'm new to ADSM.
