Hi James,

Not necessarily manually launched, but certainly not from the ADSM
server. We use a mixture of mechanisms to kick the jobs off. Some are
done from within application systems, some are done from batch jobs that
run at the same time each day. There are any number of ways to get the
backups/archives to run, it is just that ADSM server scheduled is not
one of them.
