Hi all,

last week we changed our OS/2 V2 ADSM Server to the new NT V3.1.1.3
Server. All worked very good. But now I tryed a bigger restore and saw
that the restore speed was very, very slow. I tryed several
constellations and the situation is now as follows.

Migration from the Disk pool to the tape pool works with the normal
speed.
move date from one tape to another is ok, also.
restore from data which is on disk works fine
but restore from tape is very slow.

I tryed it with to different libraries. One DAT and one DLT library. Both
had the same results.

We have a 16Mbit token ring and with a restore from tape I only reach a
network rate from approx. 120 KB/s. Sometime less then that.

Is it a known problem with the NT-Server?????
