Roll-forward & Mirroring

The chart on pg 319 of the v3 Administrator's Guide indicates
the same level of coverage and speed to recover for a
log only mirror in roll forward mode as for a log and data base
mirror in normal mode. Isn't the former likely to require much
less disk space? Are there other considerations when choosing
between these two modes?
