You didn't mention what level of server you have or if anything
changed recently.  This is similar to what we had after upgrading our
AIX servers from V1 to V2.  The error was a database problem caused
by a bad patch early in ADSM V1.  This gave us the ANR0104E message
with "ASTXN.C" instead of "ASVOLUT" and probably a different ANR999D.

We corrected our problem by following the procedure in informational
APAR II08975 which involved dumping and loading part of the database
using commands in the APAR.  Of course you may have a different problem,
especially if you did not upgrade from V1 recently.  Searching IBM
problem databases or calling ADSM support sounds like the best action.
