We are on ADSM-MVS V2 R1 Lvl-13. Our NT clients continue to complain of
Backup Guis that take all day just to expand.
My understanding is that, to date, the PTF for this problem is not ready
yet. Is this correct?
Also, is this a problem unique to V2? Does upgrading the Server to V3
solve this problem? We are preparing for a V3 upgrade already, but some
of our NT customers have the idea that a Server upgrade to V3 will solve
all of their problems. If this is true, then we would speed up our
upgrade considerably. If this is not true, then we would rather bring V3
through its normal testing and installation schedule.
Any informed advice or comments on this would be most welcome.
