I've run into a strange problem.

During normal server-startup the devconf-file is read correctly.

dsmserv dumpdb fails to read devconf, issuing messages like

ANR2000E Unknown command - RIBUTED

After removing the header-line of the file..

ANR2000E Unknown command - FORMAT=3590C

This doesn't make sense at all... RIBUTED is no command. Its a part of the
header-line:
/* IBM AdStar Distributed Storage Manager Device Configuration */

FORMAT=3590C is no command either. Its a parameter in the commandline:
DEFINE DEVCLASS BCKTAPE DEVTYPE=3590 FORMAT=3590C .......



We are currently at 2.1.5.18 and AIX 4.2.0

Has anyone else seen this? Comments/suggestions?
