I believe the id the service runs with also must have access to the ROOT of
that drive, as well as the priveleges you listed.

Also, an EXCLUDE statement does not prevent ADSM from scanning the
directories in V2.
It check EVERY FILE against the list of excludes, so it spends a lot of time
noodling about reading those directories even if they are excluded.

In V3 you can prevent scanning the directory with an EXCLUDE.DIR statement.
