hi

i tried a few things u suggested but to no avail. i am using adsm v2.1.06 on nt4
platform. i use a 3570b2, dual-drive tape library without barcode reader.

my tape pool is low and have only 14 tapes in the unit (rather than 19), and am
putting in new tpaes into the system but cannot get the labeller working.

what i want is to put a tape into the exit/entry port, type in dsmlabel command,
get the system to drag in the tape and label it and then spit it back out the
entry/exit port. i do this for the 20 tapes i purchased. when all labelled i
will then checkin the tapes.

is it possible to do this under v2? if so what is the command paramters to do
this?
