     Thanks for your reply. That was actually the problem. When the ADSM
     Connect Agent installed it created the link in /usr/lib and I just
     assumed that was right but it should have been created in
     $EBU_HOME/lib
     I then had to run $EBU_HOME/lib/setup.sh to link in that file to EBU.

     We are running Oracle 7.3.4 and EBU 2.2.0.5
     Do we still need that patch?

You don't tell what version of Oracle your having. It matters.
What you can look for is if there is a link between libobk.a of the
ADSMConnect Agent directory and the EBU_HOME/lib-directory.
For EBU 2.2 on AIX I also needed patch611244.tar from Oracle to make
things work.
